What Are Asthma Symptoms?
Cough
The extra mucus created by inflammation in the lungs makes people with asthma cough, during the day, at night.
Wheeze
Sometimes you feel this in your chest and sometimes you actually hear it. It is worse with excertion or heavy breathing.
Chest Tightness
Airway inflammation caused narrowing and blocks air from flow out of your lungs creating a tight chest sensation.
SHORTNESS OF BREATH
When you can’t fully breath out, you begin to feel like you can’t catch your breath. This is VERY frightening!
